Henry ford was born on September
4
. Henry was one of the other
eight children in his family. He lived
on a family farm in Dearborn,
Michigan. Henry built the first farm
locomotive which was a tractor with
an old lawn mower as its chassis, and
a homemade steam engine for power
.He then moved back to Detroit and
got married. Later that moth Henry
ford got chief engineer at a
manufacture company, and then set a
goal to build a gas powered vehicle.
th, 1914
After henry ford set his goal to
build a gas powered car he tried
building prototypes…etc. His
company was a success, but someone
came in and threatened to take down
his business, because Henry was not a
licensed manufacture. Henry ford
built the first horse carriage, it had
four wheels and it connected to
horses to get people around wherever
they needed to go. Later on Henry`s
company built all kinds of cars like
racing cars including the 999 car
drove by Ber Googlena Eli Oldfield
in different kinds of races. Henry
ford’s company sold cars for a down
payment of 28,000 because they were
the first gas powered cars of there
year. Henry ford sold 15,500,000 of
the cars in the United States, that’s
1,000,000 more than Canada! Later
on Henry started a production of the
Model-T. Henry ford failed when he
was trying to create a gas powered
vehicle.
Henry failed many of times, he had
to make many prototypes…etc.
Henry overcame all of that by not
giving up and trying till he managed
to create a gas powered vehicle,
which was his goal. After all of that
Henry Ford’s Company was a
success, even to today in 2016.
Henry`s company today is called
Ford, they make a lot of different
kinds of cars including the Mustang,
Ford Raptor, and also the Ford F150
all those cars are some of Fords most
popular cars in Fords production
today. Even through all the trouble
Henry had and all the hard work he
had to do he managed to invent and
produce one of the best car
companies ever to be produced.
Henry ford would have
overcome many obstacles in his car
manufacturing job. If Henry ever
failed he would find the solution and
re build whatever he was working
and do whatever it takes to complete
it the right way and sell it and make a
lot of money. Building cars was
Henrys passion, he wouldn’t want to
give up he would keep building till he
figured out how to build it the right
way. Henry had to overcome building
the first gas powered vehicle, he
failed many of times building that
and it didn’t stop him from building it
and making one of the best car
companies ever on this planet.

by Valeria Jiminez
The early years
Michael Jeffery Jordan was born on February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. When he was very young, Michael
and his family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. Michael is the second youngest of his mom and dad five
children. Michael attended Trask Middle School and received certificates of achievement in Football and
Basketball in June 1977.In the beginning, Michael was not very academically focused
Failure
Michael Jordan began attending Emsley A. Laney High School. He became a B+ student and excelled as an athlete
in three sports: Football, baseball, and basketball. Michael Jordan was trying out for the Emsley A. Lane High
School. Jordan was only a 15-year-old sophomore and couldn’t yet dunk a basketball. Unfortunately Jordan didn’t
make the team and was cut off. “Whenever I was working out and got tired and figured I ought to stop, I’d close
my eyes and see that list in the locker room without my name on it,” Jordan would explain. “That usually got me
going again.” Michael Jordan’s name might not have been on the list but that doesn’t stop him from becoming
successful.
How did Michael Jordan over com his failure?
After Michael was cut of his basketball team later that day he went home, locked himself in his room and cried.
Then he picked himself up and turned the cut into motivation. Michael Jordan pushed himself to work even harder.
What made him so successful? Michael Jordan said “I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t
accept not trying. Even though he has failed he turns his failure to a motivation to be successful. Michael Jordan
has a great attitude when it comes to play basketball, he always tries his best. This is
one of Michael Jordan’s famous quotes "I've missed more than 9000 shots in my
career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game
winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And
that is why I succeed." Michael Jordan failed so many times but he kept going.
Michael Jordan is not a magician who never misses a shot but he was a talented
player who developed has talent as a result of hours and hours of training, and that’s
how Michael Jordan succeeded.
