Performance Classes: Exam Classes: these classes cater to our dedicated, elite students who represent DI in various Eisteddfods, performance’s & displays throughout the year. Classes are divided into age groups. Students may attend 2 age group performance teams, their age & 1 above. It is a prerequisite that ALL performance team students be taking an exam class. This ensures that our performance teams maintain the high standard Dance Industry delivers. Exam classes are a grading system that teaches technique, foundations of dance, confidence in performing and more; giving students something to work for individually. The age is decided as of 1st of January 2016. Seven year olds at 1/1/16 = 8 years performance. Those who do not wish to take the exam classes need to be attending a ‘general’ class as apposed to a ‘performance team’ class. THIS YEAR DANCE INDUSTRY HAS THE FOLLOWING PERFORMANCE TEAMS: 6 years / 8 years / 10 years / 12 years / 15 years / 18 / opens We have tried to cater to all families by putting exams and performance classes on the same days.
