During Keep Australia Beautiful Week, which runs from
Monday 25 to Sunday 31 August, you can help tackle climate
change and protect our natural resources by participating
in the Score Points for the Environment challenge.
Simply log on and record your actions against the list of activities on the Keep Australia

positive environmental contribution that your household, school or workplace has made.
Plus, find out how Australia is faring overall. Just by getting involved you could win a

Join our celebrity ambassadors in the 100 point challenge
By achieving 100 points, you will be recognised as a Keep Australia Beautiful
Ambassador and join a number of well-known Australians getting behind the cause.
Example activities that can be validated online to earn you points:

Recycle your old or broken mobile phone at participating retailers, or pick up a free recycling satchel from Australia Post. You may even want to run a MobileMuster at your school or office.

Keep Australia Beautiful, together with Scholastic Book Clubs, is be running a ‘Score Points for the Environment’ classroom
challenge and a ‘Design a Sustainable Garden’ competition for preschools and primary schools nationally.
Prizes include books, water conservation tools and native plants,and even a visit by celebrity gardener Don Burke!
Classes registered with Scholastic Book Clubs will receive a classroom Resource Kit in July. Any schools that are not
currently registered with Scholastic Book Clubs can phone 1800 021 233 to get involved.
