Richmond Soccer – Using www - Richmond Girls Soccer Association

Richmond Soccer – Using www.scheduler.ca.
For those who have never used Scheduler this will give you a few instructions on getting started. Keep
in mind there is HELP on every screen for reference should you need it. The instructions provided here
do not cover all menu options however they will provide sufficient information to set yourself up on
Scheduler and allow the assignor to assign you games.
There are just a few things you need to do.
1. Login and set your profile.
Website: www.scheduler.ca select Referee scheduling system.
 Client ID: 603
 Your user id/pw – for most it is set to your last name and the pw is set to 123. If 2 people
have the same last name, prefix your last name with the initial of your first name, ExampleBob Jones and Pat Jones would have id’s of bjones and pjones respectively.
Once you log in you will be at the main menu and will see the following Hot Box.
-
2.
Select Change Password – reset your pw, then SUBMIT
Select Official Information – update your address, email and phone number, then SAVE.
You need to now update your Calendar, i.e., availability. This will let your assignor know
when you can and cannot work.
From the main menu you will see this section:
Select the first option My Calendar.
If there are no changes, click SAVE and this will set the CONFIRM box at the top of the calendar.
Each day on the calendar has a small box in it. For days you cannot work, click this box and a
check mark will appear. Repeat for each day you are not available. Once you have finished
checking all the days you are not available – click SAVE.
Make sure the available starting time at the bottom – image below, is set to 8:00am for each
day. This will be applied to each week. If your available start time on Sat/Sun is other than 8:am
then set it to your first available ‘game time’.
Partial day blocking.
Using the image above, select ‘Interval’ and you will see the following:
First select/click on the day you want to add a partial block. Then click on the ‘Add Block Time’ and
set the start/end times and click SAVE. Repeat for adding a second interval on the selected day, or
select a different day and repeat the process.
3. Game Confirmation:
When you get a game notification in your email, you will then select the screen Game Confirmation. If
you have games the screen will appear as:
To confirm your assignment(s) you can confirm all by clicking the Confirm All or you can do each game
individually by clicking ‘Pending’ next to each game. Once you have confirmed all your assignments you
will notice the games do not display – this is because the filter on the top right side of the screen is set
to ‘Pending’. To see all games change this filter to ‘All Games’. Once a game is confirmed the box will
turn Green. If you cannot do the game then select either the pending box or Confirmed green box if you
have previously confirmed it, and select Not Available. There is no SAVE button on this screen. It is
automatically updated when you click Confirm or Not Available. If an error message appears and says
the game is locked which prevents you from confirming or rejecting the game this is because the
schedules are LOCKED. This only happens if you are late to confirm/reject and the game is within a day
or 2 of the game-date. Your assignor has set the limitation for this. You will now need to contact the
assignor by phone or by selecting ‘Contact Assignor’ under the HOT BOX and send him/her a message.
Getting Paid
The most important step is to ensure you get paid. Once you have completed the game you MUST go to
the site and confirm your attendance. Go to “official attendance” - the calendar (top left of the screen)
always defaults to today’s date, so if you are confirming a game prior to today, you must change the
“from” date on the calendar. Every month we will issue cheques based on this information. To issue
the cheques we will need to have your billing information. Make sure that your profile is updated with
address, phone number and email so we can contact you.
