CME activities should be developed in the context of desirable physician attributes. Please indicate which
American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)/Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education
(ACGME), Institute of Medicine (IOM) core competencies (as of July 2010) or Interprofessional Education
Collaborative were addressed in this activity.
Patient Care and Procedural Skills: Provide care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective treatment for
health problems and to promote health.
Medical Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, and cognate (e.g.
epidemiological and social behavioral) sciences and the application of this knowledge to patient care.
