Working in conjunction with the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA we are hosting 9 v 9 aside Taster Football Festival on Saturday 20th April 2013 for boys going from u10’s and girls
going from u12’s, and would like to invite you to come and bring along your team for some
useful competitive football.
The aim of the 9 v 9 Taster Festival is to offer players, managers and coaches a chance
to play some structured 9 a side football and gain a little experience in readiness for
the following season. The event is a friendly tournament with no trophies or tables.

The squads can consist of no more than 18 players
The games will be of 15 minutes each way
The entrance fee is £25.00 only
4 games per side

Purpose marked 9v9 pitches with regulation sized goals
Friendly Tournament (no tables or trophies)
The tournament is a ‘Respect’ event
The Taster Festival is open to only 15-20 boys’ teams and 5-10 girls’ teams. There will be 5
teams allocated to each 9 v 9 pitch. The Taster Festival will be played on a round robin basis.
Players must be of the appropriate age group for the 2012-2013 seasons (U10’s) or (u12’s
girls). If you find that some of your regular players are not available, guests are allowed but
no academy, school of excellence or over age players will be allowed to play. Players can
only play for one team during this Festival.





Cheques should be made payable to Judgemeadow Community College and sent
along with the application form to Sam McMahon, Football Development Officer,
Football Development Centre, Judgemeadow Community College, Marydene Drive,
Evington, Leicester, LE5 6HP
The closing date for application is Monday 1st April 2013 but please reply early to
avoid disappointment. Confirmation of your place will be sent with rules and start
times etc nearer the time.
Refreshments hot and cold will be on sale at reasonable prices during the day.
Car Park – Available on the improved and newly built site. There is No Charge.
FA Soccer Skill’s Coaches will be in attendance to provide skill’s coaching during the
day.
