for presenting the research paper entitled "Improved
Estimation of Restricted Regression Model when Disturbances
are not Necessarily Normal" and participating at the Fifth

As Scientist (Statistics), I shared the responsibility of
planning AICRP on Linseed trials by selecting the
appropriate statistical designs in keeping with the
objectives of the experiments. Analyzed, interpreted and
compiled all the annual data of AICRP on Linseed
emanating from all AICRP/voluntary /testing linseed
centres of the country. The total number of trials
comprising the disciplines of Breeding, Agronomy,
Pathology and Entomology which approximately amounts
to be about 250 trials annually.

A germplasm pool of about 2800 accessions is evaluated
and maintained at the P.C. Unit which is a regular job of
the Unit.
Provided statistical guidance for planning and analysis
befitting
the
problems
in
assignments,
dissertations/theses of Post Graduate and Ph. D. students.
Participated in various committees of research in the
various disciplines pertaining to AICRP on Linseed.
Suggested estimators for regression coefficients in classical
linear regression /econometric models under non- normal
disturbances.
Participated in all concerned academic, research, coordination and
administrative activities as per directions of the authorities concerned.
Performed and developed technologies/varieties as a member of the
team of linseed coordination unit.
Processed EFC Memos of AICRP on Linseed of various Five – Year
Plans.
