23 June to 16 July, 2017 All the pieces in this exhibition have been hand-crafted from sterling silver (or 9ct gold) by metal-smithing (sawing, shaping, soldering, filing, etc, but not casting). All are designed to be comfortably wearable. Many rings can be adjusted to fit - please ask! Silver pendants are fitted with sterling silver chains (several types). If you want a different chain, this can be arranged (perhaps with a price adjustment). Stones naturally contain various imperfections and usually these are avoided. Any that remain are a reminder that nature isn’t always perfect. Lapis Lazuli – used for centuries in art and sculpture – with a deep blue colour and crystals of pyrite (fool’s gold). The pieces below all use good quality stone from Afghanistan. #1 - $145 #2 - $145 #3 - $140 #4 (with 9ct gold overlay) - $165 #5 - $145 #6 - $145 #7 - $160 #8 - $145 #9 - $145 #10 - $145 #11 - $145 #12 - $150 #13 - $160 Cat’s Eyes – the “doors” of turban marine gastropods and (like pearls) principally composed of the mineral aragonite. I first visited the seventh gorge back in the 80s - by canoe with my wife and young children. #106 - $175 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ __________ “High Tide at Nightcliff” You might recognise those Nightcliff rocks – best of course at sunset.... #107 - $175 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______ “Dreaming of Ubirr” ...and who can forget those ageless escarpments and endless flood-plains? #108 - $175 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______ “Gunlom in the Wet” I don’t think I’ve actually seen Gunlom in the Wet, but it could look something like this... #109 - $175 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______ “The Monolith” Glowing at sunset, the monoliths rise like ancient sentinels from Jim Jim Creek, about 5km upstream from the falls – a favourite campsite for bushwalkers. #110 - $175 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______ “A glimpse of Darwin Harbour from East Point” Many have looked out from this vantage point... #111 - $175 Want something different?
