My name is Ola
Gryka. I’m eleven.
I go to Primary
School No.12 and
I live in Piła. I’m
in sports class 5a.
Nowadays I like doing sports but formerly I didn’t like any
activities. Together with my friends I like playing
different kinds of sports but my favourite sport is
swimming.
At the beginning
I was affraid to swim
because I didn’t like
the water. My parents
decided to enroll me
for swimming
lessons.
I liked it and started
regular practice.
So I learnt to swim at the age of 5.
I have trained for 3 more years and now
finnaly I swim at the club MKP
Szuwarek (Swimming Club
Championship) for three years.
Workouts are four times a week: On Mondays,
Wednesdays, Fridays and on Saturdays.
In my group there are ten children.
On Mondays, Wednesdays
and Fridays I swim for two
hours. On Saturdays
I swim for one hour.
Sometimes in Piła there are
Tournaments and swimming
competitions. Many times I have
gained a medal but once I won the
gold one .

Several times a year we have swimming
league – a very important nationwide
competition. The League takes place in
Poznan.
The biggest succes in swimming
I achived was 11th place in the league
competition.
