Andy Brereton, Head of Comedy Entertainment – Tiger Aspect
Andy started his career leasing photocopiers in a bank before applying for a
BBC Development job.
He then worked within the BBC Entertainment team and helped develop The
Weakest Link (BBC1), Jetset (BBC1) and his first ever show Simply
Complicated (BBC Choice) – which no one saw!
Throughout his career he has worked in development teams across the Indie
sector. At 12 Yard he development and produced Coach Trip (C4), Eggheads
(BBC2) and In It to Win It (BBC1 ). At Talkback THAMES he was a
Development Executive and helped in the development of Hole in the Wall
(BBC1), Take Me Out (ITV) and The King is Dead (BBC3). After this he ran the
BBC Comedy Entertainment team where he created Epic Win (BBC1), 24 hour
Panel People (BBC3/Online) and produced the anniversary episodes of Just A
Minute (BBC2) and started the development that lead to That Puppet Game
Show (BBC1).
Finally he joined Tiger Aspect where he has created and Exec produced a
range of Comedy Entertainment and scripted shows including Backchat
(BBC2), I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse (BBC3), Crackanory (DAVE), Drunk
History (Comedy Central) and Murder in Successville (BBC3).
Rita Daniels, Executive Producer, Documentaries – Channel 4
Rita Daniels works across a variety of returning series including 24 Hours in
A&E, One Born Every Minute and First Dates as well as the first time director’s
strand, First Cut.
Before joining C4, she was Series Director and Senior Producer/Director for 24
Hours in A&E and 24 Hours in Police Custody respectively. She’s worked as a
Series Producer for BBC3’s Emmy award winning series World’s Strictest
Parents and prior to this she spent 10 years as Producer/Director across
innovative series such as Cutting Edge, Jamie’s Ministry of Food and Faking It.

Alex McLeod has worked in TV for 20 years. She started out as a Production Coordinator on ‘They Think It’s All Over’ and has Exec Produced programmes like
Weakest Link and It Takes Two.
She joined the Day Time Commissioning team a year and a half ago and looks
after a slate of programmes which include Pointless; Great Railway Journeys
and Saturday Kitchen.
