UNIT 3

GRAMMAR: First Conditional (If I go……) When, as soon as, unless. Defining relative clauses: who,
which, that, whose. Infinitive of purpose.
FUNCTIONS:Talking about conditions. Giving information. Talking about purpose.
VOCABULARY: Computers.
UNIT 4

GRAMMAR: Must, may, might, could, can’t. Non-defining clauses: who, which, whose.
FUNCTIONS:Making deductions. Giving extra information. Descibing places.
VOCABULARY:Describing places: climate, accomodation, facilities. location.

UNIT 5

GRAMMAR: Past continuous (all forms). Could, was/were able to, managed to.
Past simple and past continuous: when, while, as.
FUNCTIONS:Past actions in progress. Talking about past abilities. Interrupted past actions.
VOCABULARY: Air Travel.

UNIT 6

GRAMMAR: Present perfect: for, since, already, ever/never, just, not yet.
Present perfect v past simple.

Inoltre gli studenti hanno usufruito di 10 ore di conversazione con un insegnante madrelingua,
utilizzando materiale video su argomenti di cultura generale e attinenti al programma svolto: Talking
about past habits. Those who change the world: Gandhi, M.Luter King, Einstein. Leaving home. Making
hypotheses. Using conditionals. Role Model.
La classe ha anche letto il testo di narrativa “ The hound of the Baskervilles” di A.C.Doyle in versione
ridotta.
