General Rules and Regulations for COD-e-BUG Managed by Computer Science & Engineering Department ENTRY FEE- NIL Round 1: Debugging (Elimination Round) • • • • • A set of 3 questions will be given with some logical and syntactical errors. Points will be awarded for debugging each error. Total points will be evaluated upon the correctness of the submitted program/programs. Top eight candidates will be selected for the next round i.e. final round. Points scored Round 1 will be added to the points obtained Round 2 for the final evaluation Round 2: Coding (Final Round) • • • • • • • • • • • A set of 3 questions will be given to each candidate. The questions must be solved in C language only. Total marks = Total marks in Round 1 + Total marks in Round 2. Points will be awarded for solving each question as per given input and output pattern. Use of header files such as process.h and conio.h should be avoided. Your code will be evaluated depending upon the correctness of the code, time complexity and space complexity. In case of any tie, the ranking will be determined depending on the total time taken by the candidate in this round. Do not discuss any strategy or logic of the program during a live contest. All Participants are expected to abide by the rules ®ulations of the contest. Any Violation of the Rules & Regulations shall lead to the cancellation of the candidature from the competition. In case of any conflict, the decision of jury panel will be final and binding.
