Mastercard 2017 Cross-Border Promo
Promotion Mechanics are as follows:
1. The Promotion Period is from April 17, 2017 to July 16, 2017 (both dates inclusive).
2. The Promotion is open to all cardholders of consumer credit, debit and prepaid Mastercard cards
issued in the Philippines. Cirrus and Maestro-branded cards and Mastercard-branded
Commercial/Corporate cards are excluded from participation in the Promotion.
3. To qualify in the Promotion, Mastercard cardholders must make a minimum overseas purchase of
US$50 (or its foreign currency equivalent) in a single receipt with their Philippine-issued Mastercard
card. Every US$50 (or its foreign currency equivalent) earns one (1) electronic raffle entry.
“Overseas purchase/s” means payment transactions in merchants (including online merchants) outside
the geographical borders of the Philippines.
4. Overseas purchases of more than US$50 (or its equivalent in any foreign currency) in a single receipt
will be computed into multiples of US$50 and will be entitled to the corresponding number of electronic
raffle entries. Denominations in excess that is less than US$50 will not be eligible for
any electronic raffle entry. For example, an overseas purchase of US$164 in a single receipt will be
entitled to three (3) electronic raffle number entries. Receipts cannot be combined.
5. At the end of the Promotion Period, Mastercard shall assign electronic raffle numbers to all qualified
transactions whereby every overseas transaction equivalent to US$50 shall be assigned one (1) raffle
number for a chance to win in the raffle draw.
6. There will be one (1) raffle draw, with ten (10) winners drawn from the Mastercard database of valid
entries/qualified transactions two (2) weeks after the end of the Promotion Period.
7. All entries drawn in the raffle draw shall be subject to validation of the respective Mastercard-issuing
bank prior to being declared a winner.
8. Each of the ten (10) winners will win one (1) million Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Miles each. To know
