Thistle Room, we look forward to fun times with our
new friends. This month we have been learning about
woodland animals. We have been researching their
habitats and which animals are nocturnal. We have
enjoyed trips to the Mitchell Library to find information
books about the animals and we have been on nature
walks to the park looking for woodland animals. We
have also been learning about the Commonwelath
Games and the World Cup. We had lots of fun
participating in our Commonwealth themed Sports Day
in the park. We have also been exploring the topic of
summer which we will continue in the coming month.
Eco Schools
It has been a very exciting month for Eco-Schools. We
all had lots of fun at our coffee morning playing the
tombola, getting our faces and nails painted and having
lots of nice cakes and food. We raised an excellent total
of £300. This money will be used to buy resources for
our garden to encourage the birds and wildlife. We have
also set up our monthly sponsorship. We would like to
thank everyone very much for their participation and
support at our coffee morning. We would not have
raised such a great total without your wonderful
support. Again if you would like to be involved please
see Miss Hazel in the Daffodil Room.
