2017 Adult Softball Meeting
Men’s and Co-ed League Teams
• Wednesday, March 1, 2017 @ 6:30 PM
• Queensbury Activity Center (742 Bay Rd.)
The purpose of this meeting is for returning teams to pay their league fee or drop off
a team roster and for new teams to secure an opening.
FEE AND ROSTER DEADLINES:

A $75. discount will be given for early payment to returning teams.
LEAGUE FEE - $525. (
) ~ March 1st – March 17th)
$450. - if paid in full by February 28th RETURNING TEAMS from 2016
$550. – if paid in full after March 17th – penalty rate

ROSTERS: Where possible, rosters should be turned in with your deposit or league
fee. If not, ALL rosters must be turned in by the March 17th deadline
RETURNING TEAMS: To re-enter a team in this year’s league, a coach or a coach’s representative

from last year’s team, must complete one of the following options:
RESERVE A SPOT – 1. A non-refundable $300.00 deposit (cash or check payable to:
Town of Queensbury) before or at the organizational meeting; OR 2. Pay the entire
league fee (See Fee and Roster Deadlines Info Above).
UNABLE TO ATTEND MEETING: Notify the department, PRIOR to the meeting and
stop by the department office to submit the required deposit fee or the league fee,
in order to keep a team in the league.
NOTICE – If your team fails to show up at this meeting or does not make
arrangements with either a deposit or league fee – your spot will be given away to a
new team. If you are not planning to attend or are no longer interested in entering
a team, a courtesy call (761-8216) would be appreciated.
NEW TEAMS: To enter a new team in this year’s league, a representative should attend this meeting

and be prepared to pay either the $300 deposit (balance due 3/17/17) or the full $525.

After the organizational meeting has been completed and openings have been
established, new teams will be matched up with available openings.
