The Tampa Microwave MANPACK satellite terminal attaches directly to the AMP antenna positioner and provides a full satellite acquisition and tracking capability for the field proven MANPACK terminals. AMP works with all Tampa Microwave 45cm, 65cm, and 95cm models with options for iDirect Evolution, Linkway S2, and Hughes HX280 modems. An easy to use web based user interface allows for single button satellite acquisition and active tracking modes of operation. AMP has embedded GPS and Compass coupled with active RF closed loop tracking which allows for greater operational flexibility and improved QoS. The antenna positioner comes with a tripod stand but also mounts to any two inch O.D. pole making system installations in various configurations extremely easy.
