WHERE THE CANDIA COMMUNITY PLAYS TOGETHER

We Need YOU!
The CYAA wouldn’t exist without our volunteers. Whether a board
member, a coach, a team parent or just helping to rake a field, every
person counts. We encourage anyone who has a child in our program to
volunteer in some capacity to keep the CYAA an important part of our
community for years to come.
The CYAA Board of Directors meets the first Tuesday of every month at the Smyth
Library at 7PM. We are always looking for new Board Members. Meetings are open
to the public, so if you have any interest, please come to a meeting. No
commitment required.

Who Are We?
Future Projects
The Candia Youth Athletic Association is a non-profit organization run entirely
by Candia residents who volunteer their time to provide youth athletic
programs to the children of Candia. There are approximately 200 Candia youth
that participate in CYAA programs during the course of the year.
We offer both youth and adult programs including;
Baseball
Basketball
Flag Football
Soccer
Softball
Volleyball
The Candia Youth Athletic Association had a great year in 2015. Registrations
continue to grow in our core programs, Baseball, Basketball & Soccer. Whether
scoring their first goal, getting a hit, winning their first game or prevailing in the
championship match, each program was extremely successful. Below are a few
highlights.

Candia was represented on the Lamprey River All Star Team, runner
up in NH State LL

4 of 5 Spring Soccer teams made playoffs, U13 Girls were crowned
NHSL Champions

4 Basketball team made playoffs, 5/6 Boys crowned undefeated
Champions
In addition, the CYAA is very thankful for the town support we’ve had in recent
years, and we have made an effort to partner with our community outside of just
providing youth athletics. We donated the use of our concessions to the Moore
School 8th grade class to help offset the cost of their Washington, DC trip & the
Moore School continues to host graduation at the CYAA. Through donation,
sponsorship and financing the CYAA also undertook some upgrades to our
facilities

CYAA Fields Pavilion

Resurfaced Basketball Court

Replaced Indoor Field Turf

Cross Country and 5K Trail
For our running youth as well for all of the
Candia community to get out and enjoy some
fresh air and exercise, we are working on
offering a beautiful set of trails at the back of
our facility.

Community Events
As a central feature of Candia’s community,
we would like to have more events that bring
our town together to celebrate, play, and
strengthen our bonds as neighbors. Some
events we envision is an annual Fourth of
July celebration, several 5K races each year,
and other fun events.
