Marketing Strategies The following suggestions will help ensure successful attendance for your event. We strongly recommend putting these strategies in place at least 4 weeks prior to your event! Please note: The Shane Center is not responsible for creating content or marketing for event rentals. If you follow these marketing strategies, we will make every effort to share your event to our page. The Shane Center does not guarantee attendance, promotion, or any other marketing. Facebook Best Practices: ü Create a Public Facebook Event If you create a Public Facebook Event you will NOT need to send the Event Information Form. This will also give your event the best chance of being posted to the Shane Center’s Facebook and website. How do I create an event?
1 Click Events in the left menu of your News Feed
2 Click Create in the top right
3 Click Create Private Event to choose between a private or public event
4 Fill in the event name, details, location and time
***Make sure to tag Shane Lalani Center for the Arts as the location!
5 Click Create
