TOLERANCE
Deviated size which allowed is:
deviated to down into up.
WHY THERE IS TOLERANCE?
Because when the material does not
suitable with the size :
The cause does not suitable is :
a. mistake when see measure tool.
b. condition tool/machine.
c. temperature change when nocth on working
thing.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?
1. In order can be product on line in
different placed and still fulfill, especially,
exchange the function.
2. Example is production project machine.
TERMS IN THE TOLERANCE
1. Basic size is a size without deviated.
2. Upper deviated is the biggest deviated which
allowed.
3. Under deviated is the smallest deviated is
allowed.
4. Maximum deviated is allowed is basic sum size
with upper deviated.
5. Minim deviated is allowed a sum basic size with
down deviated.
TERMS IN TOLERANCE
1. Tolerance hole, axle tolerance is cause
between upper deviated and lower
deviated or different maximum size and
minim size.
2. Zero size, upper positive area, lower
negative area.
3. The real size, result from the production,
between minim and maximum.

Answer :
Ud : ǿ15 mm
Pa : +0,2 mm
Pb : +0,1 mm
Umaks = Ud + Pa = ǿ 15 + 0,2 = ǿ15,2 mm
Umin = Ud + Pb = ǿ 15 + 0,1 = ǿ 15,1 mm
Tl = Pa – Pb = +0,2-(+0,1) = 0,1 mm atau Tl
= Umaks-Umin= 0,1 mm
Us = Umin…Umaks = ǿ 15,1 … ǿ 15,2 mm
PUBLIC TOLERANCE
Public tolerance is tights several
basic tolerance. Point of special basic
size included.
USING THE TOLERANCE
Tolerance is use to :
a. Working thing create axle which symbol
small letter.
b. Working thing create a hole symbol with
capital letter.
Classifying thing is use tolerance :
a. Hole type, such as wide pin, slot beave pin
for pen.
b. Axle type, example axle, pin slot.
TOLERANCE AREA

Fitting : Tolerance double
kind of tolerance:

Suitable fitting possible happen or force to fitting,
depend on the material.

Force fitting or narrow must be set with force way
( pressure) because the axle more bigger than
hole.
c. Wide Fitting after set always clearance because the
hole is bigger from axle.
FITTING SYSTEM
2 kind of fitting system :
a. Fitting system axle, use H area as symbol,
remember upper deviated same as zero, tolerance
area basic on system.
b. Hole basic system to H area become basic
remember the deviated lower same as zero.
GIVING SIZE
purpose :

thing size.
PUBLIC ROLE TO GIVE SIZE
Arrow, is like limit from measure line,
made same as wide compare with
long scale 1:3 and block it.
