Playing badminton.

Cat.
What do you like about teaching?
Helping children.
If you were not a teacher what would you be?
I think I would like to be a vet.
If you could go on holiday where would you go ?
New Zealand!
Pearl Anderson (our wonderful lollipop lady) is retiring
after 36 years of keeping us safe at the crossing at St
Margaret’s Park! A very popular crossing! We were keen to
ask her a few questions before she goes.
Did you enjoy your job?
I loved it – I really did !
Will you miss your job?
Yes – of course I will !
What will you do with your spare time now?
Well, I love gardening and playing scrabble on my I -pad !
What did you like about being a lollipop lady?
Meeting all the lovely Corstorphine children!
Any funny memories ?
Once, my deck chair collapsed and I was stuck inside it!

P1/P2 Nativity

This year’s P1s and P2s are getting ready for their
Nativity Show! Everybody is really excited! They are
practising a lot to make a great performance. This year
the show is called “The Donkey Sellers” and it is all
about how people in the Christmas Story like Joseph,
Mary, the shepherds and the wise men are all looking for
donkeys to ride! Rosie Brown is Mary and Joseph is going
to be played by Daniel Farrell. They’re learning a lot of
words songs like “Amazing Things Have Happened”,
“Travelling” and “Dance Away”. Miss Taylor told us it is
all going really well and the show is going to be fantastic.
