ANNOUNCEMENT
Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW calls for a post of an
Associate Professor (profesor nadzwyczajny)
in technical/mathematical sciences,
the discipline of computer science, the specialty of informatics
at the Faculty of Informatics and Mathematics
in the Department of Informatics
The applicant must satisfy the requirements of the regulations contained in art. 109
par.1 and art. 114 par.1 of the act of July 27, 2005, – Higher Education Act (Prawo o
szkolnictwie wyższym - Dz. U. no 164 pos. 1365 with the amendment art. 1 pt 91 of
March 18th 2011) and in the Statute of Warsaw University of Life Sciences-SGGW (Att.
6 pt 9).
The requirements for this position include:






PhD with habilitation (doktor habilitowany) in technical/mathematical sciences
or professor’s academic degree;
fluent command of the Polish language (at least on the C1 level);
fluent command of the English language (at least on the B2 level);
experience in formal modeling and verification of systems security and
information protection;
significant scientific achievements in the indicated discipline;
significant experience in teaching in IT relating subjects, especially the
following courses: mathematical foundations of computer science, cryptography,
security of computer systems, network security system, graduate seminar.
The applicant should apply for the job in a written form addressed to the Rector

application for employment on a position of professor;
copy of the PhD diploma with habilitation (Doctor of Science Degree) or
professor’s diploma;
Curriculum Vitae;
a list of scientific contributions;
a list of completed and currently supervised PhD theses;
a statement that the candidate meets the requirements set out in art. 109. par. 1
Higher Education Act (as above) and the Warsaw University of Life SciencesSGGW will be the primary place of work within the meaning of the Higher
Education Act (appropriate form provided by department office).
In addition, persons previously employed at the University submit :

last assessment of the Faculty Evaluation Committee.
Out-of-school applicants additionally submit


personal questionnaire with two photos;
documents ącertifying the seniority and the last periodic assessment of the
academic teacher referred to in art. 132 of the Higher Education Act if such
assessment in the current place of work was subject.
