Upgrade to Roman Way Play Area
Further Boost for Smannell Road Open Space
We're delighted to announce that TVBCare investing £33k to upgrade
the play facilities on the Smannell Road open space.
The work at Roman Way will see ,...---------------,
a £30,000 investment to
refurbish the play area, which
includes repainting, updating
the multi-play unit and
improvements to surfacing.
An additional £3,000 will be
spent on surface refurbishment
of the "Ditch Disc" in the teen
play area.
Having delivered a new purpose built skatepark last year, this is yet
another boost for our recreation area and for Alamein Ward.
The project will be tendered in May and the work will be completed
later this year.
