Most concerns/questions can be handled with clear communications early in the season and with basic game education. *Review the Delinquent Fees Policy *Become educated on the game as much as possible to minimize questioning calls from refs and coaches. We will make the terms and rules available to you to assist in this educational process. ) Coach Expectations: We strive to find knowledgeable Christian coaches who have a passion for both the sport and Jesus and who want to serve His Kingdom by serving the home school community in the athletic arena. Our coaches are expected to demonstrate self-control in their words and their behavior, be respectful of their players and the families from which they come, as well as any opponents and referees/officials. We all fall short, but pray that our behavior will exemplify what God calls us to be and model for your daughters. Please offer grace and patience as we learn from our mistakes and grow in our faith alongside one another. Team Evaluations: June 6th, 6-8pm AND June 7th, 4-6pm at Sports Plus Each girl age 12 and up may have their volleyball skills evaluated by multiple coaches. Also considered are coachability, agility, speed, and attitude. Total team numbers are limited by coaching and the number of teams available to compete against. (mostly in 12-15 age groups) Girls will be contacted within two days and will have until June 9th to commit to team or potentially forfeit spot. Deposit of one third of fees made towards team fee June13th for all levels. Younger Instructional and Training Teams: We do not require girls to try-out for our instructional teams, but we are limited to two or three squads of 7-8 depending upon available coaching. Spots on a team will be on a first come, first serve basis with previous players having priority. We are asking that girls commit to the team by June 6th by notifying Kristin Leggett and making a team deposit of $50. After that date, priority registration will no longer hold. Fundraising/Payment plan option: The Trailblazers organization wants to work with any family desiring to spread out participation fees to enable players to participate. Please contact Kristin Leggett if you would like to discuss a payment plan. We also have some opportunity for fundraising.
