The universe exists.
It couldn’t be the cause of itself.
It couldn’t come from nothing.
It couldn’t be the result of an infinite
series of causes and effects.
Therefore, the cause must be something

The universe could not be the
cause of itself.
If it were the cause of itself it

The universe could not come
from nothing.
“Ex nihilo, nihil fit.”
From nothing, nothing comes.
The universe could not be the

It is impossible to pass through
an infinite series, so the series
of causes which led to the
universe must be fininte.
God must exist as the ultimate cause of each moment in
time.
