THE TOUR SERIES - INFORMATION
Aberdeen City Council in
conjunction with Sweetspot will
welcome the Tour Series cycling
event for the first time this
summer, as 50 elite athletes will
tackle an hour-long race as they
weave around a challenging 1.2

the finish line on Union Street,
battling it out to be crowned
Britain’s top team. The podium
presentation for the men’s race
takes place at approximately
9.00pm with the highlights shown
on ITV4 on Friday 26th May.
The city will be one of two
Scottish rounds on the calendar,
with Motherwell hosting
the other round two nights
previously.
In addition to the elite race,
Scottish Cycling will stage a
number of amateur cycling
events from 1.00 - 6.00pm.
There will also be free activities
taking place in Union Terrace
Gardens and Aberdeen city
centre between 12.30 - 7.00pm.
