CBS Sports tipped off its coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball
Championship -- one of the major events on the sporting calendar -- on Selection
Sunday, March 11. The hoop action concludes in New Orleans with the Final Four and
Championship game on Saturday, March 31 and Monday, April 2, respectively.

CBS and Turner to provide live, full national coverage of
the Tournament’s 67 games across multiple platforms.
CBS Sports Network's coverage includes more than 100
hours of live programming
plus encore showings of every 2012 Tournament game
that airs. The Network is also presenting a slate of original
programming, including "16," four 30-minute shows that
count down the 16 greatest teams in the history of college
basketball, as chosen by a CBS panel of experts. Fans

Side... NCAA March
Madness Live, formerly
March Madness on Demand, is providing live streaming
video of every game of the Tournament aired by CBS,
TBS, TNT and truTV, across multiple platforms, including
online, iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, and select Android
smartphones over WiFi and 3G/4G. This year, NCAA
March Madness Live is offering higher quality live video
streams across platforms and live radio broadcasts courtesy of Westwood One/Dial Global Radio Network for
all 67 games, among other features. In addition to the new
offerings, NCAA March Madness Live is again providing
the same fan-favorite features from last year, including
schedules and live game scoring, live tournament brackets
and the official NCAA Bracket Challenge game, live stats,
and social companion views. Presenting app sponsors of
NCAA March Madness Live on iOS are Buick, Capital
One and Coke Zero, while AT&T, Infiniti and LG
Electronics are the presenting sponsors for the Android
app.
And... To celebrate the passion and excitement of March

the NCAA March Madness Cube Mania contest running

Schuster announced an agreement with The World
Almanac, an Infobase Learning Company, for the
sales and distribution of WORLD ALMANAC trade book
products. S&S, which had been the distributor of
WORLD ALMANAC products from 2006 through 2009,
will begin selling 2013 trade editions of WORLD
ALMANAC titles this summer, including “The World
Almanac and Book of Facts” and “The World Almanac
for Kids.”

Honorable mentions were awarded for Best Newscast AM Drive Staff, News Documentary, Best

Press Lifetime Achievement Award.
KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO Los
Angeles has received the Southern
California Sports Broadcasters
Association’s 2011 Radio Anchor Staff Award. This
marks the second consecutive win for the station’s
anchor team, which includes Randy Kerdoon, Steve
Grad, Joe Cala, Joe McDonnell and Chris Madsen.
