Program Details: InClubGolf is a membership-based program available only to NAC members. It will operate year round as a “club within a club” under the direction of a full time PGA Golf Professional. Golfers of all ability levels are invited to consider membership. NAC members who have never played golf will find InClubGolf to be the perfect way to learn the game within the comfort of their own club environment. Experienced players will find InClubGolf to be a great way to take their golf experience to the next level through ongoing practice and lesson input as well as on course play with the pro opportunities. The program will be tailored to specifically address each of the 6 seasons of golf. 1. Pre-season - February/March 2. Early season - April/May 3. Mid-season - June/July 4. Late season - August/September 5. Post season - October/November 6. Off-season - December/January InClubGolf membership includes these 4 categories of participation: Learn. Train. Practice. Play. InClubGolf Members will have the option to be active in any or all of these categories after completing their initial member orientation session with the InClubGolf Professional. This member orientation session will include the following areas of focus by the golf professional: 1. Understanding and defining your personal goals in golf 2. Creating a customized plan to achieve these goals 3. Setting up a personalized data base to track progress toward these goals 4. Assessing your current strengths and weaknesses as a golfer 5. Explaining the benefits and responsibilities of an InClubGolf member 6. Orientation on InClubGolf hardware/software The InClubGolf Studio: The studio will be equipped with a finger print security access system and is open exclusively to InClubGolf members during all times that the NAC is open. This is approximately 120 hours per week. The studio will have two full swing golf hitting bays, each of which will be equipped with a RH/LH hitting mat and net, an automatic ball retrieval/teeing system, a Trackman launch monitor, video cameras and large screen display monitor. Putting, pitching and chipping lanes are also included. Members may bring their own clubs or use studio clubs. A full assortment of swing aids will be available. The InClubGolf Studio will be scheduled in 20-minute slots during every hour that the club is open (approximately 120 hours per week). This results in the possibility of 6 sessions per hour or 720 sessions per week. Sessions slots may be reserved in advance through an online booking system. Each member will be allowed to have three 20-minute slots reserved in advance at any given time. Sessions slots may be reserved for lessons or practice. Lesson slots will be synchronized with availability of the golf professional and so indicated in the online booking system. One to two session slots will be left open and unreserved each hour to accommodate walk in members. The Golf Professional: The InClubGolf Professional will be in the studio for a minimum of 40 hours per week. These hours will be adjusted for time of day, as needed, to best accommodate member needs. The Golf Professional’s in-studio duties include: 1. Member golf instruction (by appointment, online booking and/or walk-in) 2. New Member orientations (by appointment) 3. Member fitness coaching (by appointment or walk-in) 4. Club/Ball fitting (by appointment) 5. Event planning, sales and administration activities The InClubGolf Professional will be available for up to 10 hours per week out of studio, at pre-arranged Regional Golf Course locations. These on-course outings, consisting of both 9 hole and 18 hole play, will be opportunities for member events (both fun and competitive) and allow the Golf Professional to play with the members and provide on- course instruction for etiquette, pace-of-play, rules, strategy and course management. Learn: Three 20-minute focused lessons produce better results than one 60minute lesson. When purposeful practice sessions are alternated with a series of short lessons, the learning curve accelerates. It’s proven to be a better way to learn the game. Most member instruction will be scheduled directly with the Golf Professional upon conclusion of each lesson. However, it is always possible to use the NAC online booking system to reserve a 20minute instructional session. A maximum of three sessions can be booked in advance at any given time. While there is no limit to the number of instructional sessions that a member can schedule, the Golf Professional will suggest that lessons be supplemented with selfmotivated practice sessions between lessons in order to optimize results. Train: The Golf Professional will offer personalized golf performance/fitness coaching to each member in coordination with your own self directed workout sessions or those that you may wish to arrange with your NAC personal trainer at posted NAC rates. Practice: Members may reserve practice times in 20-minute slots. Three slots may be reserved in advance. When one of those slots is used up, it will be immediately possible to reserve another slot from the inventory of future unreserved slots. Practice sessions include both video and launch monitor feedback. The member orientation session will provide member instruction on the use of this technology. Play: Every week, in season and weather permitting, the golf professional will arrange for a variety of member outings at local golf courses. Discounted green fees for these outings will be arranged in advance and charged to member accounts as each event occurs and as each member registers for the event. The Golf Professional will participate in most of these events, with the intention of playing with members and providing supplemental playing lessons when appropriate. With sufficient member interest, off-season golf trips to warm weather locations will be scheduled. Program Fees and Terms: InClubGolf Membership dues are $115 per month per member and include all practice, instruction, fitness coaching and on-course playing arrangements as described above. The InClubGolf program is limited to 200 members and a waiting list will be established once that limit is reached. A minimum 3-month commitment will be required to hold a membership spot. An initiation fee of $120 will be charged in advance of the member orientation session. Additional fees will be collected for NAC personal training and green fees for golf outings. Such fees will always be posted in advance. Rules and Policies: Golf is a game steeped in tradition and honor. Good sportsmanship, courtesy, integrity and respect for the golf course and fellow players are fundamental values for all golfers. The Rules of the game at the highest levels are self enforced as a matter of personal honor. Ball marks are repaired, divots are filled and sand traps are raked. Care is taken to avoid injury to self and others. The InClubGolf program is no different. A lengthy litany of rules and regulations is unnecessary. A member of InClubGolf must simply show respect for fellow members, the studio, its equipment and the golf courses that welcome us as guests. FAQ: Please direct your questions to [email protected] We will start building a data- base of frequently asked questions and make it available by link to the NAC website, Will Non-‐ NAC members be allowed to participate in the InClubGolf program? No. InClubGolf is only available to NAC members; however, guests of InClubGolf members are welcome to participate on an occasional basis (no more than once per month) consistent with published NAC guest policies and fees. Will there be a discounted rate for the spouse or child of a member? No. At this time, due to the physical constraints of the InClubGolf studio and the membership capacity limit of 200 to be served by the InClubGolf professional, each InClubGolf member will pay the full membership fee of $115 per month. However, InClubGolf will offer a limited number of Junior development scholarships – 20 – available to children, up to age 18, of InClubGolf members, by application, after 3 months of membership. These scholarships will reduce the monthly fee to $50 for successful applicants. So 18 is the upper Junior age limit. Is there a lower Junior age limit for InClubGolf participation? No. Younger children will be evaluated by the InClubGolf Professional, on a case-‐by-‐case basis and accepted for membership if, in the Professional’s judgment, the child can benefit from the InClubGolf program. When will Sign-‐up for InClubGolf begin and what is the charge to reserve a place on the membership roster? Sign-‐up will begin at the InClubGolf “meet-‐the-‐Pro” reception on July 15. Details to follow. Payment of the initiation fee -‐ $120 – will reserve a membership and begin the new member orientation process.
