Abstract/Abridgement
A spinning reel game and a pin or pin and hole ball game
are displayed as sub-games on the display of a gaming
console, and the game controller and player controls allow
the player to play both games as a combined game each
having individual prize awards when the images of the
spinning reel and pin and ball games come to a stop in
final winning positions. The spinning reel and pin and ball
games potentially contribute to a single combined game
outcome in which a prize winning game outcome results
from a combination of the final stopping position of both
the spinning reel and the pin and ball images and in which
the final stopping position of at least one of the sub-games
is not independently a winning outcome.
