PSU football players and Blue Band to come to iPhone
STATE COLLEGE, Oct. 22, 2012 — Max Besong, a current senior at Penn State has
developed Fight On State, a combination app and game for iPhone and iPod Touch
featuring the Penn State football team and Blue Band. This is groundbreaking—it’s
the first app to feature a B1G or collegiate marching band.
It's time for Pregame with the Pennsylvania State University Marching Blue Band!
Help the drum major strut through the band to land his flip. As superstition says, the
final score hinges on whether or not the Blue Band drum major lands his flips in
Pregame. 108,000 screaming fans are depending on you! Players can even aid the
feature twirler in bonus rounds to see how high you can throw his baton.
Every Penn State fan needs Fight On State! Compare your scores with the Penn State
Family through Game Center. Use the app to learn your favorite Penn State fight
songs and view the Blue Band’s performance schedule.
Fight On State will be released through the AppStore on Wednesday, October 24th.
The game is free, but those who download are encouraged to donate to THON and
credit Penn State Blue Band through the app.
