PTCC- Portuguese Touring Car Championship
The Portuguese Touring Car Championship (PTCC) is a reference car racing
competition in Portugal, at the same level as the best in Europe. The equation for this
success comes from the fact that it was thought to be an image of the FIA WTCC with
more liberal regulations. It’s a championship with a high quality standard, seen with
unquestionable prestige, which deserves the honour to work as a support to the World
Series.

Promotion:
The main goal is to work as a powerful communication tool to all the agents
involved in this competition. To achieve this goal, the organization offered a wellstructured communication plan, laying on some of the following basis:
 Total TV coverage of four of the eight rounds of the PTCC, which means a total of 16
races. This occurs for the first time, specially in a public channel, that is RTP2;
 TV reports in all the other Portuguese channels, mainly in "RTP1", “RTPN”, “RTP
Africa”, "SIC", “SIC Notícias”, "TVI" and “Sport TV”;
 Editorial deals for the championship coverage
 Great advertising, including production and distribution, throughout the season, of
thousands of press releases and photos;
 A Web page developed following the idea of a news portal, with image and video
