Dear Friends,

of homelessness and other
life circumstances requires
point. They must deal with
these uncomfortable truths to
counseling, enter training
programs, secure employconfident and resourceful. A new door opens, they
reinvent themselves, no longer daunted by their past.
Adults and children alike form new friendships and
become part of a larger community where helping one
another is the new norm.
We have depended upon your good will and your help
over these past eleven years and I hope we have earned
sunflower—the happiest of flowers, it begins each day
tracking the sun across the sky before gently fading only
to rise tomorrow and start a new journey. I like to think
the women and children are on their own journey, one
that will lead to a successful and more comfortable life.
Warmest Regards,
RITA ZIMMER
