How to show your
instructor your work
in MyWritingLabPlus
Early Start English

Instructors do not have access to the program.
•
The MyWritingLabPlus Headquarters is closed for the summer.
•
We will not be completing updates for the summer Early Start sessions. This
means that students must show their instructors all of their completed work
in order to receive credit.
Signing In
•
Sign in using your CSUB ID number and new password
www.csub.mylabsplus.com
Remember to use Firefox or Google
Chrome as your web browser!

After Signing In
After logging in,
be sure to click
on your current
section of Early
Start. If you are
enrolled in more
than one ESE
session, you will
see more than
one course.
If you do not
see your
course link,
press the
'sync' button
and your
class link will
appear
Accessing your work
This is the course Home Page
First, click on the “Writing” tab.
Then, click on the “Learning Path” tab.
Accessing your work
This box is called a module.
Within modules, you'll find the
topics you are required to
complete for your course.
Complete Topic
To show your instructor a topic you
have mastered, click on the topic
name so he or she can see your scores
for all 5 activities.
Notice all five activities have stars next to
them. The topic also has a star next to it.
This is how you know you have mastered
the topic
Incomplete Topic
If there is not a star next to a topic name, then you have not mastered it. Check the
activities to see what still needs to be completed with an 80% or higher.
Recall 1 does not have an 80%, but
can be tried again, since there is
another attempt available.
Apply has work left to be completed
or needs to be Submitted to access
the second attempt
Once all five of the activities are mastered with an 80% or higher, you
can show your instructor.
**You need to achieve 80% or higher on all activities to master a topic.
This includes the Overview, Animation, Recalls 1 and 2, and Apply**
