The UPIKE Wi-Fi network access is available across the campus

The UPIKE Wi-Fi network access is available across the campus. The following is a brief description of the most common
Wi-Fi Networks (SSIDs) that are seen on-campus. The SSIDs that can be seen will depend on your location. Please notice
the distinction between secure and non-secure. The secure connections use encryption between the wireless device
and the access point. Our system is using a dynamic pre-shared key setup; this key is assigned to the user account and is
different for each user. Networks defined as non-secure are similar to a coffee shop Wi-Fi. For more information see
our list of Wireless Best Practices and FAQs located at

Legacy SSIDS(Wireless Networks)
The ResNet and Pcnet2000 networks are no longer supported by UPIKE. ResNet will be removed from the residence
halls by the end of March. PCNet2000 will be removed from our non-academic buildings by the end of March and
will be completely removed by end of the Spring 2014 semester.
