Key Responsibilities:
As a key member of CISER, you will empower researchers by interacting with them (faculty/researchers across the University and
externally) to identify scope and establish the feasibility of a given project, documenting recommendations for the most efficient strategies.
This position plays a key role by providing knowledge and leadership of software development, including gathering requirements, writing
code, analyzing performance, and testing software. Additional responsibilities include:
 Ensure top-quality workflows through tailoring the design, implementation and maintenance of custom in-house applications
 Develop integration with multiple third party applications that precisely meet end goals
 Coordinate the transition across the SDLC, including managing project team’s activities to achieve optimal solutions.

Core Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and five or more years of software development experience (designing, maintaining
and supporting applications) or equivalent combination. Learn More
Required
 Proficiency in Java and .NET development and Object Oriented Programing
 Experience with Java web frameworks, preferably JQuery and AngularJS
 Expertise in managing and querying relational databases
 Demonstrated understanding of web architecture (HTTP, REST) is required
Preferred
 Experience with metadata standards, in particular DDI
 Experience with IAAS/PAAS providers (AWS/Azure)
 Knowledge of DevOps tools and deployment workflows (Docker, Jenkins, Chef etc.)
