College Exposure Team
When: Tuesday July 25th, 2017
4 PM - Approx. 6 PM
Where: Lenz Field & Sports Complex, 1600 West Walnut Jacksonville
IL 62650 (No Metal Cleats)
Who: All boys who will be 15 on or before April 30, 2018 and/or 2021
graduate; 2020 graduates welcome if they are 15 years old on April
30, 2018.
NO TRYOUT FEE!

This team is designed for the serious talented player who wants to pursue playing

college baseball.
This team will play in several college showcase events in June and July 2018.
June schedule: Tournaments at Lenz Field and Central IL most weekends in June.
Perfect Game Super 25 and Prep Basebal Report 15u Invitational at Lenz Field & Sports
Complex. We will try and work around two sport athletes' summer schedules as much as
possible in June.
July schedule: National tournaments on all weekends in July, including week long trip to
Perfect Game Nationals in Ft. Myers, FL and CABA World Series at Lenz Field & Sports
Complex.
Age requirements: 15 years old on or before April 30, 2018 and or 2021 graduate. 2020
graduates welcome if they are 15 years old on April 30, 2018.
Practices: Some Sundays in January through early March until High School practices
begin. Practices held at the Hitting Zone at Lenz Field & Sports Complex.
Players welcome from anywhere (Do not need to live close to Jacksonville, IL.) We will
be offering several pitcher only positions for this team as well as position players and
pitchers/position players.
Try out will be evaluated by the University of Illinois-Springfield Head Coach Chris
Ramirez and his staff. NCAA Division II University of Illinois-Springfield was 33-21 in
2017 including a 19-9 record in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Tryout Costs: FREE
Roster spots will be posted Sunday evening July 30th on the Lenz Field Warriors Website
CLICK HERE TO VIEW Roster: We are looking to carry 4-6 pitchers only and a total roster of 15-16 players.
Playing Costs: Position players: approximately $1000. Pitchers only approximately
$500. (Note: This player fee does not include uniforms. It includes all tournament fees,
coaching stipends, baseballs and indoor facility expenses. This fee also includes college
exposure videos, player website development, and college baseball advisory program
currently being developed by owner and president of Lenz Field & Sports Complex, Tom
Lenz.)
All players are required to pay a minimum of $250 on or before August 3rd if accepting
roster spots. Balance of payments will be due after Jan 1. If other financial arrangements
are needed please email [email protected].
This Lenz Field Warriors team has proven itself as the top team in all of Southern Illinois
for their appropriate age group over the past 4 years. The team's accomplishments can be
