SAVING PICTURES FROM WEBSITES
First go to the website where you want to save the pictures from. If you are looking
for pictures of something and don’t know a website try doing a search for “pictures
of……”. In the example below the search was for “pictures of trees” for a student
with profound and multiple learning difficulties. The teacher wanted some pictures
to make a multimedia presentation for the student using Project Presenter.
Put the pointer over the picture that you want to save and right click  save picture
as  click.
A window will open asking you where
you want to save it and what you want
to call it.
Give the picture a name, check that
you are saving it where you want it,
and click save.
The picture is now saved as a graphics
file that you can use in lots of different
programmes.
The JPEG file type saves memory/space so leave this as it is.
Check that you are saving the picture where you want it to be stored.
