FIRST LEGO LEAGUE
A team consists of 3-10 students.
 We will have 2-3 teams at Sperreng this
year!

 Students taking part in FLL pay
○ $50 to SMS for entry fees/t-shirts/supplies/etc.
○ Activity fee of $10 to Sperreng if not already paid for
another club/activity (pd once per year)
Planning to meet on Wednesdays and
Thursdays at Sperreng after school until
4:00.
 Parent helpers welcome and appreciated!!


Competition
The Robot Game – Food Factor
2 teams compete in 2 minute, 30 second long matches
To accomplish as many missions as possible in that time
The Robot Game – Food Factor
Successful Missions earn points, failed missions can deduct points
Or simply waste valuable time. Team Preparation is critical.

Team Project Presentation
A team presents their Project to the Judges
on their topic “Carrots”. Team are to describe a problem related to
food Contamination or spoilage and present an innovative Solution
Robot Design
The last area to be judged is Robot Design. The teams have to
describe their Robot’s mechanical design attributes and features.
They describe the Programming efficiency and Mission Strategy

SHIFT describes their Robot Design. Teams will
emphasize design attributes and the purpose of Attachments

 Bring in signed form and money to Ms.
Rathjen.

 Competition is in mid-November.
