by adding a mark-up (not visible to the
customer) or service fee (visible to the
customer) to each itinerary. With this screen you
can set the default maximums.
Travel insurance is a valuable service for
travelers and a means of increasing your
commissions.

Orbitz for Agents > Manage Your Business
Generate a report of your total sales
during a particular
date range
page 12
Orbitz for Agents > Travel Agency Reports > Sales Report
To generate a report for online sales during
the previous month, set the “From Date” to
6/1/2012 and the “To” date to 6/30/12. The
resulting report will only cover June sales.
Run a report on Trip Start/End date to see
who traveled during the month. Orbitz pays
commission on consumed travel booked
online.
You can select one of two types of reports. The “Details” report allows you to view
each of the reservations. This report is helpful, as you can compare the sold
itineraries with those in the “Commissions Report” where you’ve earned the
commissions.
page 13
Orbitz for Agents > Travel Agency Reports > Sales Report > Details
This report details each of the itineraries sold during the time period you searched. If
you click-on one of the itineraries (Conf. numbers beginning with “NG”), you can see
all of the details associated with that itinerary.
To reconcile your commissions, you can use this report and compare it to the
“Commissions Report” (later slide) for the same time period.
Remember, you’re paid commissions at different times, as was shown in the earlier
slide. For example, a hotel reservation made in Feb. for a stay in March would result
in you getting paid in April. This is because hotel reservations are paid when
consumed - - in this case the reservation was consumed when the guest arrived in
March.
page 14
Orbitz for Agents > Travel Agency Reports > Sales Report > Details
If you click-on one of the itineraries, you can see an
overview of that itinerary (box to the right).
page 15
Orbitz for Agents > Manage Your Business
Generate a report of the commissions you’ve earned from your sales.
Remember: you only earn commissions according to the percentages
and at the time the reservation is consumed.
page 16
Orbitz for Agents > Manage Your Business > Commissions Report
This report allows you to search to see what
commissions you’ve earned on the itineraries you’ve
sold. Remember, that you earn a commission
according to the earlier chart and at the time the
reservation is consumed.
page 17
Orbitz for Agents > Manage Your Business > Commissions Report
For those reservations that are consumed, you’re paid
commissions the following month. E.G. reservation made
in Feb. for hotel reservation in March. Once the guest
checks-in in March, your commissions check for March
will reflect the commission from this itinerary.
