I, the parent or legal guardian of the above named
player, here by gives permission for her participation in
any and all camp activities. I assume all risks and
hazards incidental to such participation and do hereby
waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and agree to hold
harmless SUNY Geneseo Softball team and SUNY
Geneseo for any legal responsibilities. I hereby authorize
any physician and/or medical staff of the university and
any hospital/emergency treatment center to render
emergency medical treatment which in his/her judgment
is deemed necessary

SUNY Geneseo Softball
The SUNY Geneseo women's softball team has been
an intercollegiate sport since the spring of 1976.
Head coach Tony Ciccarello is a 1979 graduate of
Brockport and has a record of 258-174 in 11 seasons.
The program was started by Karen Drysdale and has
compiled a record of 530-409 in its 36 seasons.
In 2012, Geneseo posted a record of 22-19, placed
third in the SUNYAC conference with a 12-6 mark
and were knocked out of the SUNYAC playoffs with
losses to eventual champion Plattsburgh and
Brockport after a win over Buffalo State for
Ciccarello. Sophomore designated player Sam
Trapasso paced Geneseo this season by hitting .413
(43-104) with team bests of 11 doubles, five homers
and 27 RBI on her way to first team All-SUNYAC
and NFCA first team All-Northeast Region. Senior
shortstop KK Schaus earned second team AllSUNYAC recognition after hitting .310 (36-116)
with nine doubles, five homers, 21 RBI and a perfect
7-7 in stolen bases and senior catcher Molly Walsh
claimed second team All-SUNYAC after hitting .255
(13-51) and throwing out 13 of 36 base stealers.
Junior Stefanie Rosenberg hit .327 with eight
doubles, 18 RBI and a team-high 15 walks, junior
Jess Steubing hit .313 (21-67) with five doubles and
12 RBI before missing 14 games due to injury, senior
Kelsey Ogden hit .302 and junior Lexi Williams
belted four homers with 19 RBI to go along with her
.253 batting average. Junior Mary Bostwick went
14-9 in the circle with a 3.11 ERA and 110 strikeouts
in 148 innings, while junior Katie Gallagher was 7-6
with a 4.40 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 82 innings. The
future looks bright for Geneseo as first year Ashley
Fillmore hit .394 (13-33) with three homers and 12
RBI in limited duty, classmate Lauren Eggleston
posted a .348 average (8-23) and first year Jenna
Reilley hit .318 average (7-22).
