After School Activities - Key stage 1
Dear Parents,
Please find a list of after school activities. After school activities will run on Wednesdays from
1:40 to 2:20. Please complete the slip at the bottom of this page and return it to your child’s class
teacher. The deadline is Wednesday October 19th.
Drawing Club (Years 1 - 6 Mixed boys and girls)
Drawing club is a fun and engaging time where children can practice their drawing skills. Children
follow step-by-step instructions to draw anything from an animal, person or landscape. After
practicing different techniques children apply them to different drawing activities.

Maths Club (Years 1 - 6 Mixed boys and girls)
Mathematics has an important role in our lives. It not only helps with day-to-day situations but
also develops logical reasoning, abstract thinking and imagination. The Maths club helps enrich
students Maths abilities and provides greater opportunity to develop Maths skills in creative ways.
Using worksheets, smartboard applications and group activities, we’ll build upon basic skills and
progress to new and learned concepts.

Fitness is Fun Club (Years 1 - 2 Mixed boys and girls)
Do you like keeping fit and active whilst listening to your favourite music? Then come along to the
'Fitness is Fun' after school club. You won't want to miss it!

Reading Club (Years 1- 2 Mixed boys and girls)
Join us for the reading club and bring along your favourite books and short stories to share with
your peers. Teachers can also read aloud to students and engage in discussion about their
favourite characters or parts of a story.

Board Game Club (Years 1- 2 Mixed boys and girls )
Join us in the board game club where you can play, learn and win. You can exercise the use of
your intelligent young minds. Join us today and have fun!
