Pizza and drinks will be provided by the HSV Pickleball
Club . Bring your own seating and your A-game.
Club House is Open so bring the Chips, the Dips, the
Desserts and Chairs!
Format of Play – Round Robin
Each player will be given a number which will be
displayed on the White Board located on the bench
near court #4. Every doubles team will play one game
to 11 points – win by one point. When all courts have
finished play, players will return to court #4 to hear the
next round court assignments. The next round will be
called by your numbers and another game will
commence. This way every player will have an
opportunity to play with those you may not know, yet.
Games with Referees - Players will play to 11 points, win
by 1. Each match will have a referee who will call the
score, non-volley faults and service foot faults. There
are three questions a player may ask a referee. Players
will be able to contest a line call by requesting a
referee decision. If the referee saw the ball, his decision
will be final. Two more questions a player may ask are,
“Am I in the correct position,” and “Am I the correct
server or receiver.” Takes the pressure off the players
and used in sanctioned USAPA tournaments.
