Drawbacks to using the new PowerPoint Method:
Time consuming for pupils to do it especially if they need help
They need an available laptop at the meeting
The SEN department does not have a digital camera
After year 10 it will need adapting to make it more relevant for
older pupils
Positives of the new PowerPoint method:
Can be adapted for each pupil, e.g. some pupils will be able to
elaborate and add more
Its more fun for the pupils to do
They can add video clips and photos of achievement throughout
the year
They can add rating scales e.g. to describe behaviour, to the
presentation
They could include the pupils own ratings so comparisons can be
made from year to year
