TERMS & CONDITIONS: Prize Draw for the “What do you read while on holiday?” survey
By participating in the sweepstakes you declare that you accept these Terms and Conditions
unconditionally.
1. Organizing Company – The organizer of the promotion "What do you read while on
holiday" (hereinafter, the "Sweepstakes") is Opodo Limited with company number
4051797 and whose registered office is at Waterfront, Hammersmith Embankment,
Chancellors Road, London W6 9RU with VAT Number 766445988. Please send any
postal correspondence regarding competitions to ensure a prompt response.
2. Location, date and time of the Promotion – The contest will take place on Opodo UK's
Blog (http://blog.opodo.co.uk), from May 15, 2017, starting at 15:30 p.m. BST, until
May 29th, 2017, ending at 23:59 p.m. BST (hereinafter "Promotional Period"). The
draw for choosing the winner, in accordance with the provisions of these rules, will be
at the registered office of Opodo, before May 31, 2017.
3. Eligibility – Any person who meets the following requirements can participate: (1) be
at least 18 years of age and (2) reside in United Kingdom. All eDreams ODIGEO and
Opodo employees, partners, employees and/or their family members, may not
participate in the promotion. Participation is free. Users can only enter the sweepstake
once and any extra participations won’t be qualified to enter our Opodo.co.uk “What
do you read while on holiday?” promotion and vice versa.
4. How to Enter – In order to enter the Prize draw, participants must answer our survey
on the blog post (http://blog.opodo.co.uk/travel-book-survey/) leave their email
address at the end of the survey between May 15 and May 29, 2017. The winner will
be chosen randomly by Opodo, whose decision in all matters relating to this
sweepstake is final and binding. Opodo will use an automated tool that generates
random combinations, before May 31, 2017. The prize is limited to 1 prize per
person/per household.

5. Prize –The following prize will be granted by Opodo through two random prize draws:

1st draw: 1 x Opodo flight voucher worth 250£

2nd draw: 1 x Kobo eReader Aura H20
The total value of the prizes is £430.
6. Prize Limitations – The Prize certificate is valid for one (1) redemption use only and
may not be combined with any other offer relating to the same reservation or
accommodations.

The Flight voucher is valid from June 15 to December 15, 2017 and must be
redeemed before the expiration date. The voucher can't be used on existing
bookings that have been made before June 15, 2017. The flight voucher can be
used on any airline and has no limit of number of passengers. Lounge passes,
upgrades and frequent flyer points are not permitted with these prize tickets and
frequent flyer miles cannot be accrued. No substitution, assignment, redemption
for cash, or transfer of any prize is permitted except if Opodo reserves the right to
substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that an offered prize is
unavailable. The Flight voucher certificate isn’t insured for Trip Cancellation and
Trip Interruption. The purchase of additional travel insurance is strongly
recommended. Opodo gives no guarantee that the prize will be available for the
preferred dates of travel of the winner but will use reasonable endeavours to
arrange suitable alternative dates. The winner will be responsible for all costs
associated with the journey, for example getting to and from the departure and
destination airports, and other expenses during their stay.

Potential prize winners will be notified by e-mail before May 31, 2017. Eligibility,
age and prize claim by all prize winners are subject to verification.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Prizes are not convertible to cash. Opodo
reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole or in part for any reason
whatsoever. Additional restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Sponsor
is responsible for prize delivery including postage and packaging.

7. Causes for Participant Disqualification of the Promotion – Promotion participants will
automatically and immediately be disqualified from the Promotion if they violate the
rules of “good faith”, demonstrate a mendacious, inadequate, misleading or
inappropriate conduct, use disproportionate, fraudulent or improper means, or violate
any of the regulations or bases in either way.
8. Limitation of Liability – Opodo reminds Participants of the nature and limitations of
the Internet and does not accept any responsibility for any occurrences resulting from
the Participants' connection to the Internet via the Opodo website. No responsibility is
accepted for ineligible or fraudulent entries.
In particular, Opodo does not accept responsibility for any damage (whether
material or non-material) caused to Participants, to their computer equipment or to
data which are stored on them, or to their personal, professional, or commercial
activities.
Further, Opodo shall not be responsible if one or more Participants are unable to
connect to the Opodo website or to participate in this competition, or if the entries of
one or more Participants are late or lost, due to any technical problem or any problem
linked to congestion of the Internet.
Opodo reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Prize Draw, or any part
of it, including these Official Rules if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor
beyond Opodo’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the
Prize Draw, as determined by Opodo in its sole discretion. If for any reason the
Sponsor is unable to fully operate the Prize Draw as set out in these Official Rules, the
Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible
entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered
herein. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual
it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Prize Draw or to
be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive
manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate
operation of the Prize Draw may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should

such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any
such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Opodo’s failure to enforce any
term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
In the event that the prizes offered are unavailable due to circumstances beyond our
control, we reserve the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.
9. Announcement of the Winners – The winner will be notified directly via e-mail once
the survey has been closed. The winner has 3 calendar days from the closing date of
the contest to accept the prize and to send their contact details. If within three
calendar days from the draw, the winner cannot be contacted and reaching the winner
proves impossible, Opodo will believe that the winner has rejected the prize. In which
case, Opodo will proceed to the election of a new winner. If within 3 calendar days
from the election of the new (second) winner, it results impossible to contact them,
Opodo will again reserve the right to accept the winner’s rejection of the prize. If it is
not possible to award the prize to a second winner, the draw and prize will be
forfeited.
In order to formalize the act of delivery of the prize, the Organizer will send a Letter of
Acceptance of the Award which will have to be signed by the winner, as proof of
reception.
10. Personal Data – We inform the Participants that the personal data provided will be
added into a personal data file owned by Opodo. This data will be processed in order
to administer the competition and select a winner of the prize, to communicate with
the winner of the prize and also for promotion and marketing purposes which includes
sending commercial communications by email. At any time, participants can make
effective their rights to access, modify and delete their personal data from the Opodo
file, submitting their requests to the organizer: Waterfront, Hammersmith
Embankment, Chancellors Road, London W6 9RU to ensure a prompt response. Please

11. Acceptance of the Rules of Promotion – We inform all participants that the mere act
of participating in the promotion implies the full acceptance of these rules.
12. Applicable Law – By participating in the competition you declare that you accept these
Terms and Conditions unconditionally. These Terms and Conditions will be governed
by and construed under the laws of England.
