This is to reflect the current ASA wording
Rule 3
Change the wording of the second sentence in this rule
The chairman shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM )and may remain in office for one year only

The executive committee shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and remain in office until the next AGM
This is just to formalise the elections for all the executive committee posts.
Rule 4

An AGM comprising of the officers and one delegate from each competing club shall be held in
May/June of each year to elect officers, revise rules, and carry out any necessary business. Any
proposed changes in the rules, other than those proposed by the executive committee, shall be duly
seconded by another club and sent to the secretary by 28th February. At a General Meeting alterations
to the rules to be carried require twice as many votes in favour of the proposal as against.

league the total door and raffle money (less refreshments, prizes and other expenses)

Rule 8
Increase in fine for withdrawal from a gala – increased from £75 to £200
New rule will read as follows:Application by swimming clubs to join the league must be in the hands of the secretary by 28th February for the
following season’s competition. They will be taken in strict rotation and new teams may have to be placed on a waiting
list. A club wishing to withdraw from the following season’s competition shall notify the secretary by the previous 28th
February. A penalty of £175 plus the annual fee shall be imposed for late notification. Withdrawal from the rounds shall
incur a fine of £200 per gala. Non-payment may bar a club from re-entry to The National Swimming League – London, or
any of the other in The National Swimming League constituent leagues.
Conditions
For noting – an increase in the fine for the non-provision of officials. The fine will be £100 per official
Condition 7
Each team must supply one judge (J2) and one judge (J1) for each gala in which they compete. All judges in the premier
division are required to be licensed. All judges in division one and division two must be members of the ASA and be
correctly qualified. A fine of £100 per official will be imposed if the required officials are not supplied by a team. This
shall be paid before the next round, or by 31st December in the case of the last round. Any fine not paid in the required
time-scale will result in the exclusion of the team from the competition in the next round, plus the fine for withdrawal
from a round, or, in the case of the last round, in the exclusion of the team in the next season.

Condition 14
“A” & “B” & “C” teams:
Where a club has more than one team in the competition, the “A” team shall be comprised of the club’s fastest
swimmers. The “C” team shall be comprised of swimmers who are not faster than those in the “B” team. Any
club in breach of this rule shall be disqualified from that round.
