Find and follow others Following someone on Twitter means: You are subscribing to their Tweets as a follower. Their updates will appear in your Home tab (Timeline). That person is able to send you Direct Messages. Tip: One great way to find more interesting accounts is see who those you know or admire are following. How to start using Twitter: 2. See what’s happening Messages from those you follow will show up in a readable stream on your Twitter homepage, called your Timeline. Tip: Click hashtagged keywords (#) to view all Tweets about that topic How to start Tweeting: 1. Retweet (RT), reply, react: Retweet messages you like or wish to show support for Reply to a Tweet you find interesting to publicly reply to that person. Mention people by @username to draw their attention to a tweet. Mentions will appear in a users’ Notifications tab and are publicly visible. Content and integration: 1. Shorten your links: Use short-links services (such as www.bitly.com) to compress your links and monitor if people have clicked on them. 2.
