Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage
In the event of an accident resulting in loss of life, limb, or eyesight, the
beneficiary receives up to USD 1 million, and if necessary coverage could be
increased for highly-compensated employees. This comprehensive coverage
also extends to permanent total dismemberment or disability.

Medical Evacuation
If adequate medical assistance is not immediately available, the insured will be

Temporary Total Disablement
The insured shall receive benefits in the event of an injury causing temporary work impairment. Amounts are
available up to 100% of the employee’s weekly salary.

Case Study
An international development organization devoted to capacity-building in democracy and governance
saw a peak in assignments in high-risk areas. As a result, it opened several outposts in Africa, Latin America,
and Asia to meet the increased needs of its services. Its 250 employees worldwide faced a variety of risks
that varied greatly by location. The organization approached Clements Worldwide to provide them with
coverage that would factor in the dramatic differences in circumstances in each region.
Clements obtained for the organization a personal accident policy that included a life insurance benefit
of up to USD $100,000 per person, permanent total disability and temporary total disability benefit.
The organization was also provided a war and terrorism extension that protects financial security of its
employees and their beneficiaries should an event occur.

• Nuclear, chemical or biological war; war between the 5 permanent
members of the UN Security Council
• Sickness/disease
• Participation in armed forces operations
• Riding/driving in a race
• Serving as a pilot, student pilot or crew-member of an aircraft
• Suicide or self-inflicted injury
• Drugs or inhalants taken except on the advice of a physician
• Alcohol consumption to the point of intoxication
• Commission of a crime
• Voluntary exposure to danger, except to save a human life
