Princeton Posse Release Regular Season Schedule
PRINCETON, British Columbia (July 29, 2014)
After much anticipation, the Princeton Posse Junior Hockey Club have released the
2014-2015 Schedule. The schedule, like in previous years will consist of 52 regular
season games, including 26 at home. Out of these games, the Posse will face their
division rivals 8 times each. Those teams being Summerland Steam, Kelowna Chiefs,
Osoyoos Coyotes and North Okanagan Knights. Another 10 games will be with the
Okanagan’s Doug Birks Division (100 Mile House, Chase, Kamloops, Revelstoke and
Sicamous) and for the first time in two years there will be a home and home series with
each team in the Kootenay’s Eddie Mountain Division (Fernie, Columbia Valley,
Creston, Golden and Kimberley).
The 2014-2015 season will start off with a bang with two home games in three nights.
Friday, September 12 is the season opener against the Golden Rockets and two days
later on Sunday, September 14 the Posse play host to the Chase Heat, which features
former Posse goal scorer Kaleb Boyle.
Last season saw the Posse with limited games in January after a long Christmas break
which resulted in a slide in the standings for Princeton, after the Posse had a nearly
undefeated December. This season, the Posse will have a much smaller break and
give fans more to cheer about during the holiday season and of course more home
cooking in January as well!
The holiday presence resumes with the traditional Wednesday noon game on
December 17th to give an opportunity for the local schools to get some mid-day hockey
in. The Wednesday game is always a big hit with Princeton fans, especially the young
ones. This season will see a return of a New Year’s game; however, this season the
Posse are fortunate enough to host the Summerland Steam on a special 5:00PM start
on New Year’s Eve, allowing time to incorporate the Posse in your holiday plans that
evening.

return to Princeton.

regular season.
