Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis at a glance.
Location
The modern yet cosy Tyrolean vacation region of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is situated at an altitude
of 1,200 to 1,400 metres above the Upper Inn Valley at the heart of an ancient farming
landscape. With more than 2,000 hours of sunshine every year, Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis are
the sunniest spots in Tyrol.
Activities
A fantastic ski resort surrounded by the Samnaun and Ötztal Alps. Wellness hotels with
extensive spa facilities and first-class beauty offerings invite you to linger and unwind in a
variety of beauty and relaxation baths. Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is a true paradise for families:
children are supervised and entertained all day or for a few hours, while their parents devote
their energies to winter sports or explore the splendid surroundings on foot.
Winter: Alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, skating, ski tours, freeriding,
freeskiing, tobogganing, snowshoe hiking, ice-skating, curling, horse-drawn sleigh rides,
winter hikes, Telemark skiing, carving, Segway-Trekking, snowbiking, airboarding and all
sorts of other fun sports.
Slopes and snow: Well-groomed ski runs (460 hectares, 162 metric and 214 skiable
kilometres of runs, of which ca. 80% can be covered by artificial snow); some night skiing,
night tobogganing, a dedicated carving run, a high-speed run with velocity measurement,
mogul pistes, permanent race courses, Trailpark, Skimovie track (parallel track with special
video cameras), up to 112 km of maintained cross-country skiing trails (of which 52.5 km are
skating trails and 23 km high-altitude) with all degrees of difficulty, toboggan runs, children’s
motor sledging course, several fun areas for beginners, advanced learners and the whole
family with bag jump, rails and kickers, 100 km of maintained winter hiking trails (in large
part suitable for buggies), 19 feelgood stops, Feel Free (10 freeride routes for freeriders and
freestylers)

NEW for 2016/17: Indoor playground and climbing gym PLAYIN Serfaus
For days when the weather is just a nuisance, this winter the resort is introducing a new
indoor playground and climbing gym at the Komperdell valley terminal: PLAYIN Serfaus
features a laser game room, a soft-play area covering a whole of six floors, a big climbing
hall with eleven different climbing walls, a bouldering zone reminiscent of a chemistry lab
and an interactive play wall.
Family Coaster Schneisenfeger
The Family Coaster Schneisenfeger will be taking visitors on exhilarating toboggan rides at
speeds of up to 40 km/h with steep bends and loops. The ride starts and finishes at the
midway station of the Alpkopfbahn in Serfaus.

Serfauser Sauser
At a speed of up to 65 km/h this zip line takes you from the Sunliner mountain terminal
headed towards the Serfaus Komperdell cable car valley terminal for a total distance of
2,100 metres, divided into four sections. Experience the sensation of floating over the
treetops and ski slopes.
Fisser Flieger
This unique aircraft is attached to rollers that glide over a steel rope. Up to four passengers
at a time can enjoy the sensation of free flying at a height between eight and 47 metres.
Skyswing
The giant Skyswing can take up to 8 passengers. It has a swing radius of 15 metres and
three different levels: gentle swing (15%), regular swing (40%) and full circle (100%).
Tyrol’s Premier Ski Lounge
Premium enjoyment at the Komperdell midway station in Serfaus: cosy seating at an open
fire, a bar and a restaurant area, as well as a spacious sun terrace with a fabulous view of
the surrounding mountains invite the whole family to come and relax.
Sunset Dinner Masner
Après-ski in its most wonderful form: as the setting sun bathes the mountain tops in warm,
red light, guests enjoy unusual dishes and culinary delights at the Monte Mare Restaurant.
Sunrise Hexensee
The early bird catches the worm: experience the fascinating spectacle from the Hexensee
Hut as the sun rises over the silent mountains. Non-skiers can make their way there and
back easily on the Masner Express.
Masner Express
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, non-skiers can enjoy the Alpine winter landscape
of the Masner area in Serfaus. The Masner Express, a converted snowcat, can carry 17
people comfortably.
Crystal Cube
Peak enjoyment at 2,600 metres altitude at the Zwölferkopf in Fiss. Sophisticated finger food
and a grand view of the imposing sea of peaks await the guests.
Culinary Experience 2100
The Zirbenhütte Restaurant in Fiss invites guests on an exciting culinary journey of discovery
at an altitude of 2,100 m.

First Track
Join the cable car managers and ski school leaders and make tracks in the virgin snow of the
slopes before anyone else is out. Every Wednesday at 7.30 a.m. followed by breakfast.
Snowcat ride
Every day, these powerful vehicles prepare and groom the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski slopes.
Handling the 490 hp snowcats is an art form and the drivers are experts. Anyone who wants
to experience these fascinating vehicles for themselves can book a seat in the cab in Serfaus
and Fiss-Ladis at 4.15 p.m.
Behind the scenes
How do cable cars and artificial snow systems work? How are snowcats serviced? And what
else takes place behind the scenes of a ski resort? These secrets are revealed during weekly
guided tours every Thursday in Serfaus and Fiss-Ladis.
Highlights
Serfaus underground train service
Local transport system serving Serfaus since 1985. Hovercraft train that offers noiseless,
vibration-free and environmentally friendly transport free-of-charge from the Serfaus car
park to the Serfaus cable car station (4 stops). Capacity: 2,000 passengers per hour.
Service facilities
There is a large choice of sports outfitters located directly at the cable car valley terminals in
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. Hire of winter sports equipment, ski and snowboarding boots, ski depot
for children and adults, hire of specialist fun sports equipment at the Take Off – Snow & Fun
Center at the Komperdell midway station.
Several hotels in Fiss and Ladis have their own ski depots at the cable car stations, which
can be used by guests.
