COURSE DESCRIPTION

f o r m s o f digital m e d i a , a n d c r e a t e i n te r a c t i v e digital m e d i a a s a n e x p r e s s i v e a n d
c o m m u n i c a t i v e a r t f o r m . S t u d e n t s a r e given a b r o a d i nt erdi sci pl inary g r o u n d i n g in t h e
skills, c o n c e p t s , a n d h a n d s - o n e x p e r i e n c e s t h e y will n e e d t o e n g a g e t h e p o t e n t i a l s of
n e w t e c h n o l o g i e s in a r t maki ng. S t u d e n t s will gain h a n d s - o n e x p e r i e n c e wi t h d i s c u ss i o ns
expose stu d e n ts to co ncepts of electronic media, perception, intermedia composition,
