new King David Mowbray Golf Club, we look forward to showcasing our beautiful course
and newly refurbished clubhouse.

CARTS AND CADDIES:
Carts will be provided on a sharing basis to all competitors. Should you wish to bring your
own caddie, the caddie would have to pay the caddie entry fee. Visually Impaired
Golfers may bring a coach and have a bag carrier. Due to the limited number of carts,
caddies and coaches will only be allowed to drive in the carts with a medical certificate.
There will be an additional cart cost for caddies. All caddies need to be recognized by
the tournament rules officials as they form part of the player’s equipment and will

therefore be required to wear the CANON bibs. Caddies are required to register with their
player at registration.
QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:
Official golf handicaps as from the 1st of May 2017 will be used. Should your golf club not
be affiliated to SAGA (South African Golf Association) then you are to please hand in your
proof of handicap at registration on Sunday 14 th May 2017. The maximum handicap will
be 36. Visually impaired golfers to have a club handicap of 36 or less, or have an official
IBGA handicap of 45 or less.
Physically Disabled:
SADGA medical eligibility.
Visually Impaired:
Sight Classification Form with SA Blind Golf
Deaf:
Audiology report and membership with SA Deaf Golf
TRANSPORT:
Shuttles to the Airport / Hotel will cost R150 per trip at the following times.

Sunday 14th May – Cape Town International Airport 10am, 11pm, 1pm

Friday 18th May – Hotel to Cape Town International Airport : 9am, 11am, 1pm
Shuttles from the Golf Course to the hotel will be provided from 11am on Sunday 14th May
until Friday 18th May at 3pm.
ENTRY FEE – DISABLED GOLFER
The entry fee of R1400 sharing includes the following:

4 rounds of golf including carts sharing (3 x Tournament, 1 x Sponsors Day)

Meals include halfway house grab and go, Sunday registration dinner and
Thursday Gala dinner


The compositions of the apartments are as follows:

1 bedroomed apartment with one double bed (Only 10 apartments available)

2 bedroom apartments with one double bed and a twin room with 2 single beds

2 Bedroomed Penthouses with one room with a double bed and a twin room with
2 single beds = R3500 per night

All Rates include breakfast
Accommodation prior to 14th May and after 18th May

1 bedroomed apartment with one double bed = R1600 per person per night

2 bedroom apartments with one double bed and a twin room with 2 single beds =
R1000 per person sharing

Should you require financial assistance, please send a letter of motivation to

Closing date for applications for finance is 1st March 2017. Letters requesting finance after
this date will not be considered.
